Value Your Readers

Writing has always been indexed
Don’t write for Google.
So much time can be spent on SEO, tweaking headlines, choosing keywords that your contract with your readers is broken.
Readers love words – not just keywords
If you want your blog to be read – then write to be read. Write for your readers’ pleasure.
Does this mean that you should ignore everything you know about keyword density or whatever SEO techniques you favor to gain subscribers? Of course not. Without Google, you may never find new subscribers.
But it does mean that you need to focus on who you are writing for as well as why you are writing at all.
Respect your readers and appreciate the honor they bestow when they give over valuable time to read your words.
